Diane Mermigas is an award-winning business journalist and columnist specializing in media, entertainment, telecommunications and the Internet, as well as the economics, trends and issues that drive them. She is a “must-read” for her unique contextual big-picture analysis, strategic forecasts, and high-level executive interviews which have become critical to understanding the dramatic and rapid change reshaping these industries.

Diane works with media executives to tell their leadership stories in speeches and autobiographies. She has designed and teaches a course for graduating seniors at Boston’s Emerson College on covering the media and entertainment industries using the business reporting skills she excels in. She is writing a timely companion book. She also has served as an adjunct professor at DePaul University in Chicago where she taught new media studies. She helped students match their skills and interest to marketplace opportunities; and create business models and plans for potential funding sources. Ms. Mermigas also has contributed to CNBC and other television news programs, and to various academic guest speaker series.
